Nonic glass cask pour at Transport Brewery in Shawnee, Kansas as part of their Cask Ale Festival. The pour is an opaque brown black with a light tan head that leaves behind a thick coat of lace. The aroma is soft fruit, sweet, roast and behind is a bit of toffee. The taste is roast, light sweet, transitions towards earth, mineral more roast to the back. The palate is medium bodied with the cask soft body and the roast finish.
