16 oz can purchased to go at the Sandhills Brewery in Mission, Kansas. The pour is mostly clear brown cabernet red with a one inch foamy off white head that falls quickly. The aroma is slight metallic, caramel malt sweet, and general malt sweetness. The taste is strong malt, caramel, nuttiness, a touch of floral, more caramel and slight alcohol to the back. The palate is medium to heavier bodied, low carbonation and the caramel sweet and boozy finish. Bit of salt appears as it warms in the back. Solid.
