8 oz goblet draft at the Mission Farms location of the Martin City Brewing Company Pizza and Tap in Overland Park, Kansas. The pour is an opaque black brown khaki with a 1/2 inch head, with pretty lace coating the glass. The aroma is coffee grounds, roast malt, mild cane sugar and soft vanilla. The taste is the coffee, clean, roast, coffee bitterness, with a bit of char malt and very little of the sweet I got in the nose. The palate is light to medium bodied with soft natural carbonation and the bitter roast finish, a hint of the cane sugar sweet as it warms. Solid coffee stout.
