Soulless Black IPA

8 oz goblet draft at the Mission Farms location of the Martin City Brewing Company Pizza and Tap in Overland Park, Kansas. The pour is an opaque black brown with a small light tan head. The aroma is fresh roast malt, pine, soft sweet citrus and additional lingering roast. Super fresh nose. The taste is bright roast and pine hop nicely integrated clean and fresh. The citrus is also present, and the finish has the clean roast and clean bitterness drying the beer out. The palate is light bodied, active carbonation and the super crisp and clean finish begging for another sip. Best beer I have tasted in a while.
