Oak Aged Peregrine

12 oz can purchased as part of a holiday mix 6 pack at Sandhills Brewing in Mission, Kanas. The pour is a clear lighter golden with a foamy smaller white head. The aroma is bright oak, a hint of butter and cereal grain behind that. The taste is the bright fresh oak wood, the butter character and cereal grain malt finishing with more of the butter and oak wood. The palate is light bodied, soft active carbonation and the lingering wood and butter character. Interesting version.
