16 oz can purchased to go at Pathlight Brewing in Shawnee, Kansas. The pour is an opaque brown black with a ½ inch khaki head that falls fizzily. The aroma is char roast malt, sweet toffee and pine. The taste is char roast malt, turns to an inky iodine, then a whisper of the toffee and finishes dry with pine and mineral. The palate is medium bodied, active natural carbonation and the very dry mineral finish.
