16 oz can purchased at the brewery in Mission, Kansas to go. The pour is an opaque black brown with a dark khaki ½ inch head that is lasting. The aroma is char roast malt, cocoa, cinnamon, toffee malt along with some pine. The taste is the strong roast malt, cocoa toffee malt sweetness, and nice fresh pine to the finish. Excellent melding of flavors. The palate is medium to heavier bodied, soft natural carbonation, and the sweet malt and dry pine finish. No alcohol heat present at all, really well built beer.
