Enjoyed at home while watching playoff football on a snowy Sunday afternoon in Chicago. This is very decadent. Smells of very rich maple syrup, dark roast coffee and chocolate, with light lactose. Vanilla comes out more in the flavor along with the chocolate and maple. Despite its richness I don't feel like I'll get a sugar rush from this one, good good stuff.

16 oz can received as a Christmas gift from my wife. The pour is a deep brown with a very loud fizzy brown almost purplish ¼ inch head that falls fast. The aroma is sweet maple syrup, round toffee caramel malt, and milk vanilla sweetness to the back. The taste is big and syrupy sweet right off the bat, maple syrup, brown cane sugar, vanilla then back to the maple syrup. The caramel toffee malt is present as well, especially as it warms. Pretty significant after taste of the maple syrup. The palate is heavy to medium bodied, lower carbonation and a slick mouth coating sweet maple syrup finish. The maple syrup was the entire story here, it’s clean and natural tasting, but still just so much of it. On the positive side, it masked the high alcohol content almost completely. Very well made for what it is, but not really my thing.
