Half nonic pint draft at Casual Animal Brewing in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is opaque black brown with a tight ¼ inch tan head. The aroma is roast, caramel malt and a pleasant grassiness. The taste is a nice soft blend of the roast, caramel malt and pine hops and the grass towards the finish. The palate is medium to light bodied, soft carbonation and roast grass finish. Nice stout - nitro option also available.
