RBESG 2017, sampled on July 21, 2017.At the brewery, Käbliku Pruulikoda, on the ride from Riga to Tartu. Brewery stop no 2.From bottle.Clear brown color, tan head. Loads of heather, sweet scent. Heather, spicy, sweet taste. Sweet, heather aftertaste. Also there is Myrica Gale (pors) in scent, taste and aftertaste once I have put the heather to the side and keep looking. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness.8/4/7/3/15=3.7

At the brewery. Dark amber colour, off-white head. Aroma is sweet, herbal, caramel, light yeasty. Flavour is sweet, herbal, malty, caramel, yeasty, bittersweet finish. Light to medium bodied.

7 3 7 3 14 Bottle at the source, RBESG ’17. Clear amber with a small cream colored head. Aroma really shows off the heather, floral and herbal, perfume and light malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation.
