Aged in a whisky barrel in our brewery cellar for two to three months during this time, the liquid slowly soaks in the multi-faceted flavours of the oak casks, from the soft nutty wooden notes to the bitter warmth of the residing whisky. Only delicately hopped, the mouth of this beer is dominated by the rich malt flavours, and woody, whisky warmth

Bottle at The Victoria Arms, Old Marston, Oxford 4th July 2012 whilst out morris dancing with Armaleggan Pours crystal clear light chestnut with an off white head. Sweetish in the mouth, whisky is subtle both on nose and in the mouth, I probably noticed it more on the nose. Tasty it’s a touch safe but enjoyable. A7 A4 T6 P3 Ov13 3.3
