Draught @ Mikkeller & Friends, Stefansgade 35, DK-2200 Copenhagen N, Denmark. [ As Beavertown Brown Sour ].Murky matt medium amber color with virtually no head. Aroma is light moderate malty, bread, caramel, sweet malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and light acidic with a long to average duration, sugary, bread, caramel. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat. [20140521]

On keg, July 2014. Medium brown in colour with a decent, off-white, head. Pronounced sourness, some lemon fruit, tart berries and lingering, acetic, finish. Good.

Draft @ Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen. Pours a hazy amber dark orange color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel woody sour aroma. Fruity malty woody sour tart acidic caramel flavor. Has a fruity sour tart caramel finish.

Draft. A hazy amber beer with a rim of head. The aroma has notes of over ripe fruits, brettanomyces, and a bit of lacto. The flavor is sweet with an acidic edge and notes of tart berries, lacto acid, malt, and brettanomyces, leading to a tart finish.

Keg at the Gun beer fest, 31/01/14. Hazed orange with pinkish hues, no head. Nose is earthy bitter fruits, dirt, lemon rind, tarte berry fruit, dank orange aroma, dank straw. Taste comprises bitter orange, rotting flowers, light raspberry balsams, dank dank straw, dirt, earth, lemon rind, musty wood. Light medium bodiment, moderate carbonation, tangy berry closure interlaced with earthy citrics and a light acid curtain call. Solid stuff, not overly complex but refreshing and tarte none the less.

Keg at Pigs Ear ’13, 03/12/13. Murky orange amber with a thin beige covering. Nose is tropical fruit infused, light fruit balsams, earthy mineral, dank hop notes, straw, not too much sour on display here. Taste comprises more sourness, fruit balsams, tangy berry fruits, light acidic notes. Light to medium body, fine carbonation, dry lightly tartened finale. Easy drinking light sour with a good lacing of tropical fruits.
