On tap at the brewery. Hazy dark yellow with medium white head. Some banana, light cloves, sweetish. Somewhat bland. Medium bodied.

The pour is a hazy yellow with a white head. The aroma is a subtle spice and a touch of banana. The flavor is soft and well balanced, Light sweet malt, banana and spice flavor. I prefer a hefe with a bit more phenols and esters, as well as a bit more body, but this beer certainly isn’t out of the style range or in any way a flawed beer.

.5L draft at the Schulz Brau Brewing Company in Knoxville, Tennessee. The pour is a hazed orange yellow with a foamy one inch off white head. The aroma is Hefe yeast, clove, banana, bit of sweetness and citrus. The taste is a nice blend of the yeast notes of clove banana with softly sweet lemon citrus and cereal grain malt. The palate is medium bodied, softly unfiltered and lingering yeast finish. Solid Hefe.
