500 ml bottle purchased as a single at Bombay Wines and Spirits in St Charles, Missouri. I couldn’t locate a date on the bottle. The pour is a hazed yellow golden with a smallish white head. The aroma is cracker malt, sweet caramel, and a hint of herbal floral hop. The taste is mostly the cracker, caramel malt, bit of roughness towards the middle and finishes dry and softly bitter with floral. The palate is medium bodied, active carbonation and malt in the finish. Natural malt sweetness lingers a bit. Solid.

Pour is a hazy gold with a average white head. Aroma is a little English earthy malt and not much else. Flavor is a little better. The maris otter gives this a fresh baked bread and with a little honeysuckle toward the end. Hops are not noticeable. This style is really not for me, the beer is not bad it just does nothing to make we want another. I’m glad for the American hop bombs of today.
