Several glasses from a 32 oz growler filled 4 hours previously at Martin City Brewing Company Pizza & Tap in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is a clear golden copper with not much of an off white head. The aroma is big spice, almost potpourri like with nutmeg, cinnamon, floral, herbal. The taste is the same, with all of the traditional holiday ale spicing present. A bit harsh initially, though as the beer warmed the flavors came together and integrated nicely. The palate is medium bodied with soft carbonation and the pleasant spice finish. Nice take on style.
