12 oz bottle purchased as a single at Cork and Barrel 23rd Street in Lawrence, Kansas. The pour is a clear golden with a ½ inch egg white head, which falls with decent lace. A bunch of fine carbonation bubbles rise to the surface. The aroma is citrus and fruit stripe gum hop, along with some cracker malt. The taste is the hops, sort of a flat grass citrus and the synthetic fruit of the nose. The malt is present, though is faint in the back. Some bitterness towards the back. As the beer warms, an odd ashy taste is introduced. The palate is light bodied, active carbonation and the slightly ashy finish.
