Bottle: Deep golden, hazy, creamy off-white head with a good lace; moderate sweet-bitter nose of bisquits and grapefruity hops, accompanied by light graces of cough-syrup or soy-sauce; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; lingering grapefruity, but mainly sweet-bitter cough-syrupy finish. Not bad at all. Very well drinkable regarding its strenghth...

(bottle, 33cl) Slightly hazy, amber to copper colour with a short and slightly tanned foamy head. Bready malty aroma with notes of caramel, cough syrup and piney and a bit marmalade-like hops. Sweet.bitter flavour, medium to full bodied with a smooth carbonation. Robust cara-malty with hints of candy, cough syrup, backed by fruity and piney hops; sweet-bitter cara-malty and moderately fruity and slightly sprucey finish. 05.VI.15

330ml bottle. Barely clear, orangey golden to amber colour with small to average, thick, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Slightly sweaty, resinous hoppy aroma, malty background with hints of marzipan and almond. Taste is moderately sweet caramel malty, hints of marzipan, slightly biting bitter and resinous hoppy overtones, a citrusy touch, maybe some alcohol in the finish; soft palate, soft to flat carbonation. Malty backbone has DIPA character, supporting resinous hop underscores this weighty tendency (so does the flat carbo); I miss a hop punch with more complex (fruity) flavours conferring some ease.

Bottle from Oddbins. Hazy, and deep amber in colour, with a decent, off-white, head. Big tangerine and pineapple aroma with some grassy hops and hint of toastiness. Flavour had some chewy malts and more citrus fruits, before a rather rasping, dry finish with accompanying heavy booze notes. So so.

Bottle from Oddbins, Blackheath. Hazy amber pour with a white head. Toffee, heather, caramel and citrus aroma. Flavours of apricot, citrus and malt. Malty-fruit action in the mouthfeel. Nice.

330ml bottle. Pours gold with medium bubbly white head. Aroma is fruity orange and caramel. Taste is intensely hoppy and resinous with a weighty malt backline but just doesn’t seem in synch. Disappointing.. had better from this brewery.
