Bottle at home, 20th June 14. This pours a big ugly head, and produces a cloudy murky mess. The aroma is muted, carbonation too high, and the taste is unbalanced, boozy without the usual hop shinning. Poor from Partizan

Bottle from the brewery. Cloudy, orangey amber. Big, rocky, lasting, off white head. Not the spicy hop burst I expected. It’s got the pithy grapefruit, and the tropical fruit, but it’s masked behind an unusual, cardboard, fustiness. The taste is similar, in that any freshness seems subdued. Lightly oily palate. Finish is fusty bitter.

Bottle from Bottledog, at home, 10/06/14. Hazed orange amber with a well appointed egg shell white covering that stops to stare. Nose is earthy hops, light pissings, bitter orange, straw, peachy, bread dough, vanilla custard, nectarine. Taste comprises earthy hops, light dirt, kind of harsh and raw tasting - not the usual delicate blend of citricana, bitter orange rinse, light pine needles. Medium bodied, soft massageing carbonation, almost a boozey rinse in the close. A little raw tasting and lopsided, still drinkable but not up to the usual standards for Partizan.
