Crafted for those who like an Oktoberfest not too sweet. Mother’s traditional Märzen is brewed with Munich malts and German Spalt hops. Pleasant notes of biscuit give way to a clean finish as you drain your stein or boot. Whether you pull up lederhosen, don a dirndl or wear whatever, we have the beer to toast the coming of fall.

Pour is a cloudy tan with a small white head. Aroma is caramel malt. Flavor is a nice toasted bread but this has a bit of sourness on the back end. Just Ok.

Bottle. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of sweet grain with a bit of biscuit and bread underlying. Flavor has a good amount of grain that grows in sweetness and a touch of biscuit.

GABF 2012. Pours with a lightly golden colored body with a white head. Aromas are toasty, grainy, grassy, cornbread, clean. Flavors are malty and grainy with just a hint of fruitiness. Very clean. Lively carbonation with a medium-dry body.

Shaker pint draft at Martin City Brewing Company in Martin City, Missouri. The pour is mostly clear golden yellow, with a well formed 1/2 inch white head. The aroma is bready, caramel sweet malt, along with some nice resin hops. The taste is the bready, sweet malt of the nose, paired nicely on top of a touch of resin hop bitterness. The malt is the main character, with solid support from the hops. The palate is light to medium bodied, nice active carbonation and a clean dry finish. Easy drinking Oktoberfest, nice to enjoy this one outside on a beautiful evening.
