Tap at Hollander. A true Belgian Brown on tap in good condition. Creamy mouthfeel. Nice hoppy balance to the sweet malts. Good.

Keg at Cafe Hollander Wauwatosa, 9/22/16. Clear brown tinted red, large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of bready malt, caramel, spice, earth, dates. The taste is bready malt, strawberry, toasted malts. Medium bodied, mild lingering spice.

Draft at Trocadero in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, approximately 12 ounce Goblet. Pour is a hazed chestnut brown along with a smallish off white head. Aroma is clove and spiced yeast, followed by roast malt, and a bit of sweet banana at the back. Taste is quite spiced, yeasty, nutmeg is present, along with spiced clove and the gentle roast of the nose. The fruit sweetness hangs around a touch in the back. Palate is medium to heavy bodied, soft carbonated mouth feel, and the yeast spiced finish with sweetness.
