12 oz bottle shared by beastiefan2k, who picked it up at the brewery. This bottle was unlabeled, or rather it had another beer’s label upside down on it. Pour is a lightly hazed gloden ruby with a smallish off white head. Aroms is soft apple fruit, light toasted bread, some general brandy notes. Muted nose, but nice. Taste is light honey and apple fruit sweetness. There is also caramel malt present, which comes out in the middle and leads to a soft Brandy finish. Really not any discernable alcohol or wood in the taste. Nice enough, wasn’t heavy handed with the barrel which I enjoy. Thanks for bringing this one back Eugene.
