From tap. Pours dark brown with a deep amber note and a huge tan head. Aroma is dark roasted and liqourice. Nice roasted malty and slight bitter, Vague acicidic and dark roasted malty. Smooth malty finish.

6 oz sampler pour at the Seattle location of the brewery. Pour is slight hazed reddish brown with a 1/2 inch tan head. Best looking of the bunch. Aroma of light roast - somewhere between cooking meat and coffee, earthy malt behind that, turning a mildly floral sweet taste in the longish finish, which picks back up with the roast - that now tasted a bit more leafy. palate is unfiltered, medium bodied, with lower carbonation. Very soft on the tongue. Nice one, the class of the sampler.
