Sample at SBWF 2017. Hazy brownish/amber with a small head. On the sweet side with dried fruit, malt, some spices and caramel. Warming alcohol in the finish.

Draught @ Mikkeller & Friends, Stefansgade 35, DK-2200 Copenhagen N, Denmark. [ As Beerbliotek Dark Wheat Wine ].Unclear dark red brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light roasted, moderate hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, orange - citrus. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, wheat, chocolate, hoppy, grapefruit. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140521]

How: Bottle.
Where: NK Bar, Stockholm.
Appearance: Hazy brown colour with a small off-white head.
Aroma: Sweet malt, raisin, floral, chocolate.
Body: Medium to full body, low to medium carbonation.
Flavour: Chocolate, spices, fruit, alcohol. Unbalanced with something off in the finish. The alcohol is too obvious and there isn’t any sweetness to it.

Draft. A dark brown beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of wheat, roasted malt, and lemons. The flavor in is sweet with notes of wheat, alcohol, roasted malt, and bread, leading to a dry wheaty finish.

From tap. Pours hazy dark brown with a small tan head. Solid grapefruity and dark malty. Thick. Dense malty, light estery, alcohol. Dark malty, chocolate and roasted malty. Sweet, fruity and toffee. Rather bitter and dry finish.

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 21 Feb 2013) Dark brown colour with rocky, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with spruce needles, dried fruit, brown sugar and vinous hints of alcohol. Malty, fruity taste with notes of spruce needles, dried fruit, roasted malt, a fairly sharp malt character and a finish with a certain bitterness and a slight alcohol glow. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Interesting and quite tasty. Nice one.

Cloudy dark brown beer with a nice lasting beige head. Malty aroma with hay hoppy grass, raisins, chocolate and some wheat. Hoppy caramel flavor, toffee, some warming alcohol and herbal notes. Hoppy grassy finish with earthy notes and some chocolate.

Keg at Akkurat, Stockholm. Cloudy dark brown, small head. Woody cherry aroma. Sweet with full body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Pine, pepper, some caramel and cherry brandy. Resiny bitter finish.
