Appearance: Opaque deep brown with a good beige head. Aroma and taste: Roasted malt, coffee & chocolate, light esters, floral hop. Rather dry, light plus hop ending bitterness. Mouth feel: medium minus body, soft to average carbonation. Overall: Not bad.

500ml can. Pours opaque black with a massive beige head. Aroma is coffee, roasted malt, dark chocolate. Taste is dry, roasted, ash, coffee. Medium bitter finish. Light to medium bodied.

Tap. Almost black, creamy foam. Aroma: burnt barley, caramel, slightly wild, coffee, black bread. Taste: burnt bread crust, roasted barley, coffee drink, caramel, moderately dry, drinkable.
