Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of ThreeCats. Pours brown with an orange hue and a creamy beige head. Subtle roast in the nose - and a tart whiff. Light body, heavy carbonation, subtle roast and ashes - but most everything is overpowered by a massive lactic infection that turns this really sour in a rather annoying way. 150413

Hazy dark amber. Toasty, berryish and a little bit of floral hop. Light fruity taste doesn’t have the same complexity as the aroma did, which is too bad.

Draught sample, no head, dark brown colour with red hues, almost completly clear, muted aroma, notes of coffee, flavour of of roasted coffee, sourdough bread, hay and herby bitterness, long sour aftertaste, body is a little too light for a porter. Fair.

Re-rate 2/12: Bottle sample at a Stouts & Porters blind tasting at Sar HaMashkaot Ramat Gan. Clear dark brown with a light brown head. Acidic fruity aroma. Sourish and fruity flavor with light lactic notes and light roasty notes. Light to medium-bodied. 4/3/4/2/8=2.1
Re-rate 12/12/11: Draught at the brewpub. Black with a light brown head. Roasty aroma of coffee with light milky notes and a bit of dark chocolate. Sweetish roasty flavor with some coffee and a drier finish. Medium-bodied. An OK Porter. 6/3/6/3/12=3
Draught at the Ma’abarot beer festival. Very dark brown to black-colored with a medium beige head. Aroma of roasted barley, a bit grainy, with mocha notes and yeasty hints. Slightly sweetish flavor at first with roasted malt malt, some fruitiness and coffee and bread hints. Continues bitter and has some light yeasty sourness all the way from start to finish. Light to medium-bodied. A bit flawed but not bad. 6/3/6/3/12=3
