On tap at Mikkeller Bar (Viktoriagade), shared with Skinnyviking. Deep dark-brown body. Fraglie lacing. Filmy layer at the surface. Roasted dark chocolate on the nose joined by a touch of liquorice. Dark bready malts offset by dark fruity hops. Smooth bittersweet ending. Fine bodied. Quite tasty (Copenhagen 30.04.2014).

Draught @ Mikkeller Bar. Aroma has coffee, some ashy notes, toffee and hints of smoke. Feels english. Flavour is ashy and roasted with some coffee and peaty tones. Also some toffee in the background. Some salty licorice occurs after some sips. Also the flavour has its English side.

A dark brown porter with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light licorice, treacle, light floral hops, nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with light floral hops, roasted notes, very nice. 6.5%robust porter.

Enjoyed on tap at Goose Island Stout Fest 2012 in Chicago, IL. Last beer of the day that I rated! Appearance is a dark dark brown, very rich off white head. Aroma of chocolate, cocoa, what else would there be at Stout Fest? Taste is good, chocolate, cocoa, not much bitterness, decent. Good beer to end the day with.
