Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2013, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Hydes Quays Gold ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, moderate hoppy, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, pale malt, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130813]

Dull straw. Aroma is a bit spicy. Light body, fruity with a slightly rustic yeast character and slight juicy acidity in the finish.

From cask. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is smooth fruity, crisp hoppy and medium dry bitter. Smooth and lingering fruity finish. Crisp hoppy and bitter.
