Rocky white head on an clear amber coloured body. Malt, pine & bubble gum aroma. Medium bodied, foamy with a clean back. Malt, floral, English hops & bubble gum tastes with a bitter grapefruit finish. Nice one.

Bottle from the Brackenrigg Inn, Watermillock. Copper-amber with a head. Hoppy, full-bodied, has a malt base - combined it's all very flavoursome. This was available on cask when I was at the pub but I opted for something less strong as I was driving.

On cask at the Brackenrigg. Appearance - amber with a neat lacy head. Nose - bruised apples. Brown bread. Taste - stewed apples. Rye bread. Palate - light to medium bodied. Dry finish. Overall - weakest of their beers. Not sure I didn't get the dodgy end of the cask in fact.
