Can thanks to cgarvieuk. Appearance - hazy orange to red. Thin beige head. Nose - marmalade and general candied fruit. Honey and wood spice. Taste - bitter orange and going into more of the marmalade and wood spice again. Palate - medium to full bodied, with a tangy, sweet middle and finish. Overall - it's a well made barley wine. Very typical.

Spotty off white head & collar on an amber coloured body. Malt, stewed fruit, pine & resin aroma. Medium to full bodied, smooth, soft & sticky with a clean aft. Malt, marmalade, grape, pine & resin tastes with a big boozy finish. That's an excellent Barley Wine.
