Ce style d’India Pale Ale surprend les papilles.
Derrière ses notes fruitées, la Ninkasi Brut IPA
est sèche et très pétillante. La base de malts pales
et de blé malté donne à la bière une robe claire
comme le champagne. Les houblons américains
(Mosaic, Citra et El Dorado) apportent des notes de citron, fruits tropicaux et pêche.
Derrière ses notes fruitées, la Ninkasi Brut IPA

Robe claire et légèrement trouble, mousse fine mais assez fugace. Nez plus malté avec des notes résineuses de pin. En bouche, l’ensemble reste fruité avec une dominante d’agrumes, surtout citron et pamplemousse. Amertume modérée, texture sèche mais pas trop austère, bel équilibre entre le malt et le houblon. Une Brut IPA originale et agréable, sympa.

Bottle from Beerwulf. Aroma is maltier than I expected with some caramel, piney hop, even a little buttery. Modestly fruity with some citrus. Flavour is sweetish with a moderate bitterness. Medium body. First Brut IPA I've encountered in a while and it's a bit disappointing.

27/VII/24 - 44cl can from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ Ardennes Holiday, BB: IV/2025, lo 30298 (2024-615)
Clear gold orange beer, small creamy white head, unstable, a bit adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: nice, gentle fruitiness, pears, a bit funky, a malty touch, some tropical fruits, juicy. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very malty start, pretty sweet, gentle bitterness, more malty, fruity. Aftertaste: mainly very malty, grains, very bitter, caramel touch, a hint of banana. Pretty disappointing for an IPA.

Frothy beige head on a dark amber coloured body. Zesty citrus, malt & caramel aroma. Medium bodied, foamy in the mouth with a dry back. Peach, bubble gum, malt & zesty citrus tastes with a tangy hoppy finish. Nice.

Donkergeel bier met veel schuim wat helaas snel wegzakt. Smaak is bitter hoppig en kruidig met iets van dennen, hars en een beetje karamel.
