Bottle at home. Opaque black color, no head. Aroma is malts, dark roast. Flavor is malts, roasted malts, sourness, tart, wood. Hmm not good imo, I don't like it. Meh.

Pitch black with a khaki head that veers to the edge and spotting.
Nose is dark malts, charr, light roast, bitter cocoa, burnt toffee, caramel.
Taste comprises dark chocolate, charr, light roast, herb, alcohol, barrel, spice.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close spiked with a balanced kick of alcohol.
Tidy BA sipper ... decent balance and bitterness.

Pretty much an opaque dark brown beer, small tan head doesn't last a jiffy. Smooth and slightly viscous palate, mildly dry, reasonable fine carbonation, fine for this style. Good dark chocolate and a little dark chocolate cream, not much sweetness. The Palo Cortado sherry dominates the back end. Big tangy ripe sherry stuffed full of ripe fruits, again - not that sweet, slightly savoury in fact. Smooth viscous finish. Nice, a bit off the beaten ba track care of the barrels used.
