Can direct from the brewery. It pours darkest brown to black with a decent khaki head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, crunchy ripe cherry, black forest gateaux, brownies, coffee grounds and fruit cake. The taste is dryish, bitter - sweet, dark roast, toasty, dried fruits, crunchy cherry, raisin, fig, dried fruits, fruit cake and splash of Dr Pepper / cherry cola with a roasty finale. Light to average body and average carbonation. Quite bright and moreish. Real ripe cherry as opposed to artificial. Works well.

Dark red-brown beer, thin white head. Malty, cherry aroma. Flavour has a little cherry, some sweet and biscuity malt, slightly bready. Very mellow, very sessionable.
