One-third pint. Coal black body, covering beige head, dotted spots on the glass. Soft chocolate malty aromas, lightly roasted. Moments of chocolate, espresso coffee, and a touch of dried fruits to the flavour profile. Rather short tail with chocolate-coffee moments. Pretty good. (Liverpool, 12.02.2025).

Can from Fierce Aberdeen. It pours black with a small and quickly dissipating deep tan head. The aroma is soft, bitter - sweet, rich roasted malt, espresso coffee, chocolate cake, light vanilla, toasted nut and praline. The taste is dry initially, toasty malts, earthy roast, bitter - sweet, fragrant, light tannin, cacao nibs, espresso coffee, toasted nut, praline, touch of peppery juniper and some pencil shavings with a coffee grounds finale. Light + body, fine carbonation and slick mouth feel. Interesting. Decent enough, but doesn't wow.
