Debauchery is our big decadent Imperial Stout here at Steam Machine.
This is Debauchery IV aged in a Lowland whisky barrel.
The Lowland barrel gives beautiful notes of berries, honey and vanilla ice cream, atop an already bountiful beer packed with caramel and toffee flavours.

Delivered by the brethren in their usual guise. Glossy black. Not much of a head. A few tan bubbles clings to the glass. Aroma has molasses, dark fruit, malts. Christmas cake. A complementary boozy edge. My initial impression is sweetness. Brown sugar. Dates. Dough. Peripheral floral notes. A hint of bitterness. A latent warmth. Google tells me that lowland whiskies are gentle, elegant. That makes sense here. Medium bodied. Oily. Soft carbonation. Long finish. Astringentcy gives a wave but it's not really interested. Super smooth and sweet
