355ml can. Jet black colour with minimally late awakening, small to average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, dark beige head. Minimally artificial, sweet-ish, chocolately, dark malty and slightly spicy aroma, notes of dark chocolate, dark toffee, chocolate cookies, some vanilla. Taste is sweet, chocolately, dark malty and slightly spicy, notes of dark chocolate, vanilla, hints of dark toffee, marshmallow, hundreds and thousands, vanilla cream.
Creamy to viscous texture, smooth and soft, slightly cloying palate, medium to fine, dense, soft, mildly prickly carbonation.
Very sweet, a tad artificial - nevertheless delightful.

Smell-medium to strong, chocolate, cake, cacao, faint malt, sweetness. Foam-thick, malty, chocolate, sweet, caramel, syrup. Head is medium-sized, dark brown in color. Appearance- cool label and beer name. Black in color. From - pint Taste - sweet, chocolate, sweetness, cake, caramel, syrup. Sweet pasty stout with a bunch of chocolate notes mixed in alcohol do creep a tiny bit, but I think its covered quite good. Good stuff, if you like sweet.

The label lists all the right ingredients for an imperial pastry stout. By me anyway. My 12 oz can came from the local beer shop and I have a globe glass prepared to catch the pour. A purely black liquid with a a steadfast head of parchment foam that promptly settles. I smell chocolate and beyond that is chocolate fudge. The drink continues that. Plentiful chocolate, a dash of vanilla, red licorice, caramel and sweet cherries from somewhere. I can appreciate and I do like.
