Bottle shared by the brewer at Fermentoren, Copenhagen, Jan 2014
Hazy dark brown color with mahogany shades. Light roasted malt aroma, with yeast. Dry mouthfeel; roasted malt flavor, a bit too ashy; the body is quite weak, some of the bitterness comes from the malts. Short final.

Bottle 500ml @ Geokkjer
Slow gushing. Pours hazy amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, grain and caramel. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long roasted, grainy and caramel finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. Unclear, dark brown in the glass, with a dense, two-finger beige head. The aroma is rather nutty, with some roasted malts and dark chocolate. Coffee hints too. It’s medium to full-bodied, semi-dry and with a bit too much carbonation. There’s nuts in the flavor too, but it’s more on the roasted malts side. Coffee, roasted bread and some caramel too. Long, nutty, roasted finish. Not bad this one, but the carbonation level is a bit annoying. 150808

Bottle. Pours hazy dark copper brown with shades of ruby and airy light tan head. Clear aroma of roast and hops, with notes of malt and nuts. Bitter flavour of roast and hops, with sweetish touches of caramel malt and hints of nuts. Roasty and estery aftertaste with some sourish hints. Quite lively carbonation, but the body is thin to medium. Not bad, quite easily drinkable, but nothing really impressive. My rating #3600.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost clear, dark nutty brown. For once a decent and stable head in a Kongebryg beer - a pretty almost creamy beige. Subtle roast in the nose, a little nutty. Medium-bodied, sweet roast and nuts, a slight ashy note and a dry finish. But actually a pretty straight up and quaffable Brown Ale. 270115

Bottled, thanks fonefan! Dark brown, huge head. Aniseed, toast and light phenols up front. Mid dry with light body and spritzy mouthfeel. Lightly roasty, some bread. Mid bitter finish. Overcarbonated and lightly phenlic, otherwise pleasant.
