Dark brown, inky. Molasses, nice chile, happy bourbon. The malts are brown sugar, light chocolate, and the chile is rolling over top of that. Great malts, sugars, and the barrel is pretty well-rounded.

500mL bottle, pours jet black with a tiny beige head. Aroma is full of big bourbon barrels, cocoa, and a touch of chilis. Flavour has rich bourbon barrels, plenty of chili peppers, and accentuated by cocoa nibs underneath. The chilis aren't subtle but also aren't too overpowering, still allowing the bourbon to breathe. Excellent.

Poured from 500mL bottle. Black with very minimal beige head. Old woody barrel forward with chilli peppers and feint chocolate. Decent, but prefer Hate.

500mL bottle. Pours black with no head. Tons of bourbon, chocolate, and toasty malts on the nose; a touch of chilis. Flavour has more pronounced chilis, plenty of heat from both the booze and the chilis, bourbon, some dark chocolate. The chilis might be a bit too harsh, but regardless this is still an excellent beer.

2.5oz kindly served by military gentleman Chris. Appearance: very dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: a lot of American oak, some nice charred barrel notes, chocolate, sweet, a bit boozy. Taste: along the same lines, lots of chocolate, no pepper notes detected, maybe just a little hit, which I would associate with alcohol if I didn't know that peppers are here. Overall: very nice.
