As an ode to tradition and to celebrate our 25th anniversary, we were inspired to create an iconic lambic style beer, a brew that has been perfected in Belgium for centuries.
Propeller's nod to this style has been over three years in the making, fermented with a special lambic yeast and aged in oak wine barrels, which lends itself to tart, funky, and intricate flavours.
Carefully bottle conditioned, this beer is naturally carbonated and features layers of complexity. Enjoy now, or cellar indefinitely for a continual liquid evolution.

Cloudy, no head, pale amber. Aroma is bretty, with a barrel accent. Pear, leather, has a lambicy nose. There's some effervescence on the palate, and it comes across complex, but relatively light. Some brett, a touch of leather, and a hint of stone fruit. Starts into a more acetic note in the finish, not bad.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma has a nice leathery character, with gentle funk, and a touch of citrus. Flavour has plenty of tart citrus, a little funk, some acetic notes, and light leather. Not really convincing as a lambic, but it's a pretty solid tart ale of some sort. Pleasant.

750mL bottle. Pours cloudy pale gold with small white head. Funky wild yeast and gentle citric acid on the nose. Flavour has a decently complex sour profile, earthy wild yeast, gentle acidity, a touch citric. Well-done and very enjoyable sour ale.
