A hint of Black malt mingles with Flagon variety ale malt to give a rich mid brown coloured ale. With slight roast characters coming through on the after palate of this beer, the hops have been chosen carefully and are Fuggles and Goldings, to give rise to complimentary warm and spicy tones.

Cask @ The Abel Heywood, Manchester. Clear copper coloured with a head. Has an easy-drinking and very light malty bitterness with mild floral notes.
