Exiguousness

Flight at brewery. Pours opaque yellow. Aroma has tropical fruit and citrus, window cleaner, and fresh grass. Flavour has some light orange, stonefruit, minimal bitterness, and grass. Mouthfeel is quite chalky. Meh.

Last year's was a debacle, so I tried it again for 2024, and this year it's normal. Opaque and pale, thick head. Fruity hop, relatively light body. Floral, some papaya type notes.

Poured from the tap. Murky blonde with small white head. Initial thoughts: Messy, lots of pithy citrus, some mild hop burn and butter in the background. Some things work, but it doesn’t seem to know what it’s trying to do - muddled. As it warmed: flavours settled in, lots of Nelson Sauv fumes, actually quite enjoyable. Let this one sit a little bit so it opens up. Bumped up my rating a decent bit after 15 mins.
