Sold a kidney for this one at Mikkeller Bangkok. Oh well, you are only young once. Oh shit, I’m not even that anymore! Anyway this liquid gold poured a dark mahogany colour with a bubbly round tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, boozy alcohol, molasses. The flavour is strong bitter with a thick rich oily roasty coffee alcoholic bitter palate. Full bodied with soft carbonation. This one had been somewhat talked up. I enjoyed it, but considering the cost it isn’t worth the money. It’s very alcoholic and a little one dimentional.
