Brewed with Eureka, El Dorado & Harlequin hops you can expect a punchy tropical aroma with apricot notes and a smooth malt backbone.

SO WHAT’S WITH THE NAME?

Mad as a March hare is an old English phrase referring to the antics of hares during March. The male hares ‘jacks’ and the female hares ‘jills’ (see what we did there?) can often be seen boxing and chasing each other in the daytime; which is rare as they’re normally nocturnal animals. If you want to catch them in action, you’re best to head to open grasslands or arable fields at either dusk or dawn.

[Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell.] A dowdy looking golden amber pour with a ring of white head; stone fruit aroma; biscuity malt body with a fruity taste; and a dry finish. A refreshing summer ale.
