Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso propende per l'affumicato. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera elevata e la maniera in cui permane è apprezzabile. Il mantello birroso superiore resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido offre una visione offuscata. Il colore è scuro impenetrabile. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è contenuto. La forza gustativa è elevata. La continuità gustativa è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il finale è semplice e dissetante. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. L'aroma in bocca riconosce indizi di miele, pane cotto di recente, affumicato e legno.

Bottle. Malty and light smoky aroma and taste, medium bitter, light sweet. Medium body, malty smoky biyter sweet finish. Ok.

21 September 2020. At 1816 Beer Pub, Livigno. Shared with the lovely Anke! Clear amber, slowly dissipating, tan head. Aroma of blown-out match, biscuit, burnt cake, plum, peanuts, fig, toffee. Taste has sweetish plum, fig & toffee, cake-like malt with a nutty accent, subtly smoky throughout. Herbal hoppy finish, wood, smoke & toffee. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Smoked Amber Ale perhaps?

From trade with fonefan, many thanks! 50cl bottle. Pours clear chestnut brown with a small beige head. Aroma of smoked malt, ham, sweet fruits. Taste is smoky, ham, sweet malt, sugar, high carbonation.

Bottle 500ml. @ home. [ As 1816 Rauch ].[ Trade by HenrikSoegaard ]. Unclear medium brown amber color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, smoke, meat, smoked mea, vomit. Flavour is moderate sweet and light acidic with a long duration, smoked, wood, meat, caramel, light vomit, tart wood notes. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20140413]

Bottle. Dark amber/brown with small tan head. Aroma is malt, caramel, smoke and meat. Flavour is malt, caramel, smoke, meat, medium sweet and a little acid.

Bottle @ Home. Pours slightly hazy dark brown with a offwhite head. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, lioght smoke, bonfire. Flavor is malt, little grain, little sour, smoked. Thin body, lively carbonation. 210513

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Dark amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Some smoked notes. Light bitter smoked flavor. Light bitter finish. Oily palate. Not my style.
