Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2013, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Brains Craft Brewery Low Hanging Fruit ].Clear medium to dark brown color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, fruity, smoke. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, dark malt, sour fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20130813]

Cask gravity @ GBBF 2013. Pours a dark amber black color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy cherry aroma. Fruity slightly tart cherry flavor with hints of caramel. Has a fruity malty slightly tart cherry finish.

One-third pint by cask at GBBF 2013, first day. Shiny black surface over a jet black body. Mid-tart berries on the nose. Tart flavours of fruits and cherries. Oaky dry. Tart berries to the finish. A special one, indeed. So-so (London 13.08.2013).

Colour: deep brown, stout-like.
Aroma: slight cherry, dark bread, light alcohol.
Taste: salty/umami, dark malt, subtle cherry sourness.

Cask @ GBBF. Dark color, short to no head. Aroma of cherry, cherry pits, slight spicy, chocolate. Bit sour taste, bit sweet, bit dry. Quite unbalanced. It started ok, but it became more unbalanced towards the end.

From cask. Pours hazy dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is overripe fruity and toasted malty. Fruity, toffee and overripe fruity, prunes and raisins. Sweet dark malty finish.
