For while we really only wanted to concentrate on strong beers, but as we opened the tap room garden we decided to bring some more session beers into play and it turns out that was the right decision.
This crisp beer was made for the summer, and takes over from soft and juicy Thwock in our lineup. It’s an easy drinking ale with a mix of UK and US hops layered over a smooth lithe body. We really like the crackle of bitterness alongside fresh clean tasting citrus fruit, herbal elements and a whisper of blackcurrant over crackers and sweet malt.

Tonight's drinking was a beer event choice between Rochdale and Halifax, the latter, and hence this beer won on a last 30 minute decision. Extremely mildly hazed golden, and crisp, it's a hoppy-floral gaseous tasting brew, followed by dominant floral tropical fruits. I'll go to Rochdale tomorrow.
