Draught, as Queen of Sweden, pour into a small festival glass at Copenhagen Beer Celebration, session no. 3. Near-clear dark amber coloured body. Remaining beige head leaving nice lacework down the glass. Inviting, balanced malt-fruity aroma. Delicious taste of orange, grapefruit and resin leading to a dry bitter ending of pine needles. Fine bodied and well crafted. (Copenhagen 03.05.2014).

Sampled [as Alpha State Queen of Sweden] @ CBC 2014. Hazy red-brown color, medium sized off-white head. Malts, hops, lightly grassy, slightly herbs, but overall quite nice and hoppy with a touch of pine. Average to medium body and carbonation.

Keg at Mother Kelly’s. London Bimble. It pours deep red with a small biege head. The nose is fresh, red fruit, jammy, citrus peel, caramel and pine. The taste is bitter, sticky, jammy, resin, earth, light alcohol and citrus fruits with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and slightly sticky mouth-feel. Pretty nice all-round beer action.
