Ins Glas ergießt sich ein dunkel rötlichbraunes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, leicht schokoladig, Karamell, würzig.

Dunkelgolden im Glas, malzig-aromatisch in der Nase. Das Bier beginnt süßlich-scharf. Und das für 6,6%… Der Hauptteil ist ein alkoholisch scharfes Malzbonbon, das immerhin nicht zu klebrig-süß ist. Im Nachgeschmack mittellang und dazu leicht herb.

500ml bottle. Nearly clear dark amber colour woth average, thick, creamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Caramel malty aroma, a touch of toffee, herbs and red fruit. Taste is moderately sweet malty, fruity, a slightly nuttily touch, dry, grassy hoppy overtones. Unbalanced, doesn’t meet my taste.

bottle from Bierzwerg. Brown colour, mid-sized beige head. Dark malts dominate with a warming touch of alcohol, also hints of dark dried fruit and some spicy hops.

Bottle looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass dark brown, nice head. Malty-roasty aroma. Starts strong, malty-roasty, modest alcoholic. Nice hints of caramel. Well balanced finish, warming malty. Nice!

(bottle) Slightly hazy, copper-brown colour with a beige and firm foamy head. Mildly nutty dark malty aroma with present notes of caramel and a whiff of chocolate. Sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a soft carbonation. Mildly toasted and slightly sugary malty taste with loads of caramel lingering into the sweet and slightly sticky finish. Likeable Bock, just a tad too sweet for my liking. 20.I.14

Rund malziger Antrunk, leicht süß. Trotz der aufkommenden Intensität weich bleibend, herrlich süffig. Deutlich malzig, dabei hintergründig leicht karamellig. Süßlich brotiger Abgang, mittellanger Abgang mit vergorenen Fruchtnoten. 11/12/11/12/10/12

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a creamy and small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and light caramelish. Toasted malty and light caramelish finish. Mild metallic and overripe fruity. Bitter and dry malty finish.

Bottle @ Zentraleuropäischer Wahnsinn 2. Pours clear amber with airy but stable light beige head. Clear aroma of caramel malt and dried fruit with touches of caramel. Sweet flavour of caramel malt and fruit. Sweet and bready aftertaste. Drinkable but a trifle too sweet.

Bottle, 6.6%. Sweet, caramelly, sugary aroma. Clear dark amber colour. Big stable tan head. The flavour is also caramelly, dusty. Slightly boozy, but OK balanced by the sweetness.
