Deep burnished copper coloured ale in the old style of wartime Great Britain. Malty roasted flavours slowly give way to a hoppy, smooth, dry finish. Sup this reminiscent old brew, walk down memory lane and feel like you’re right there at V.E day.

Malty, some light caramel and fruit notes. A bit sweet for a bitter?

Clear deep nutty color with a tan head. Ok lacing. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a soft carbonation level. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Semi dry ending. Caramel/toffee, herbal and fruity flavor. Decent easy drinkable beer.

Cask (backlog). Coppery brown colour with a mediumsized white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is mild toasted notes, some tea leafs, earth, bready malts and mild floral notes. Flavour is quite similar, with the leaflike notes being quite evident. Somewhat dryish ESB.
