500ml bottle, Sainsbury’s brand. Clear bright golden colour, initial white foam layer that quickly dissipates away and aroma of fruity apple juice, alittle tartness. Taste is apple juicy, with some sweetness, slightly tart & light wood. Light bodied, low carbonation, dry finish. Good for the low abv.

500ml bottle. Pours bright gold with medium carbonation. Aroma is sweet with slightly tart apples. Taste is sweet apple juice with a slightly tart finish.

Golden colour with a small bubbly head. Apple aroma. Medium light body. Moderate sweet. Dry moderate apple flavour. Typical british cider. A really good and fresh low alcohol cider.

50cl bottle from Waitrose (of course). Pale amber; crisp dessert apple aroma; reasonable body, with a touch of vanilla oak on top of the fresh apple. Not obviously low alcohol.

Bottled. Pours clear gold with a touch of fizz. Sweet, apple pulp aroma with a touch of caramel. A bit watery in the mouth, with some artificial sweetener, some dessert apples and a soft finish. Ok for a low alcohol product.

33 cl bottle from Systembolaget Avenyn, Göteborg. BB 07, 2013; sampled on October 31, 2012.Clear straw yellow color, very small white head. Sweet, light acidic, white wine, apple juice scent. Apple juice, a bit sweet, some sugar taste. Hints of sulphur, though mainly apple juice aftertaste, also some table salt. Medium smooth mouthfeel with fairly low co2 coming through. Sort of tart dry bitter finish. Apple peel kind of dry bitterness. Like a soft drink.

Bottled. Yellowo colour, small white head, which disappears rather fast. Aroma is apples, vanilla and mild wood. Also rather sweet notes. Flavour is fruity, wooden, mild apples and some vanilla. Not too bad for being low alcohol.
