Deep amber with a reddish hue and topped with an off white cap that dissipates to a swirl.
Nose is apple crumble, herb, cinnamon buns, caramel.
Taste comprises apple pie, cherry tang, balanced cinnamon, straw, light acidic tinge.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close with a balanced puckering spike.
Fun enough sour and does what it says on the tin.

A light haze on this dirty looking amber beer, a coarse bubbly apricot colour head that dissapates quickly. Light palate, semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Mild smooth malts form a reasonable base for the tart stuff overlaid. Ripe cherry and ripe apple, nicely balanced. Soft cinnamon, just right to complement the fruits. Light finish. A pleasant mildly tart fruity affair with a modest cinnamon backbone. Drinks well below its abv.

Tap at beer shop Hitchin. A hazed plummy red coloured pour with a fading thin pinkish head. Aroma is super jammy, sticky berries, apple, raspberry crumble, light tangy. Flavour is composed of tangy berries, sharp apple, hint of cinnamon, apple and blackberry crumble. Palate is semi sweet, tangy, highish carbonation. Good fun stuff.

Bottle from the Wee Vault. Appearance - smoothie-like pink to purple. Pink-white creamy head. Nose - cinnamon and apple up front, the cherry being more muted. Taste - luscious apple strudel, and the cherry is again, a background note, but there is at least some berry fruit lurking. Palate - light bodied, creamy middle, elegant and very gently sour finish. Overall - cherry would be my choice fruit in a sour beer, so a wee bit of a shame it isn't more prominent in this beer. Good though!
